Pycnosorus globosus craspedia

This seed packet consists of approximately 50 seeds.

How to Grow

Billy buttons require moist and well-drained soil and they can tolerate frosts and coastal conditions. Sow billy buttons seed directly into your garden in spring, summer or autumn. They prefer full sun and seeds will begin to germinate from 7-21 days. Billy buttons are perennial and therefore they continue to flower for years to come.

How to Dry

This uniquely shaped native Australian flower dries perfectly, keeping its natural yellow colour. Once the flower has turned yellow, pick the stem at the base of the plant. Hang in small bundles upside down. Always hang them upside down in a cool, dry area, with minimal to zero sunlight. Hang them until they are completely dry. They will fade if they are drying in direct sunlight.

N.B. Regrettably, we cannot send seeds to Western Australia and Tasmania due to quarantine restrictions.
